after they assessed the companies quality system and found it to be in
compliance with ISO 9001:2000.
ISO
9001 is a quality assurance model made up of 20 sets of quality system
requirements. This model applies to organizations that design, develop,
produce, install, and service products. ISO expects organizations to
apply this model, and to meet these requirements, by developing a
quality system.
Gemtors
quality policy is Quality Products on Time and they have developed
a quality system and manual designed to support this policy.
According to Gemtors President, Craig Neustater, We
have always had a strict quality control system, but the additional
structure of the ISO 9001 registration has helped us to improve our on
time delivery to greater than 99% and customer satisfaction to 98%.
