Horizontal Lifeline System
Introducing
Gemtor’s new single span horizontal lifeline system. This system
is the perfect choice for bridge and building construction. Designed
for quick and easy mounting to structural I-Beams, this complete kit
includes everything you need to protect your workers while working/walking
at heights. Each system can be used on a span of up to 60 ft. and
multiple systems can be connected together to cover greater spans.
Mounting bolts located on the top side of the stanchion base make mounting
to beam safer and easier than competitive models, zinc plated chain and
quick insert pins save time and increase durability. Stanchions are
extremely strong yet lightweight and mount on the beam at an angle to keep
the lifeline out of the worker’s way.

Automatic
energy absorbing rope grab follows a worker up and down a 5/8"-
3/4" diameter vertical synthetic lifeline. The unit's controlled,
shock-absorbing action eliminates the need for an energy absorbing
lanyard. The patented design allows the rope grab to be attached,
detached and positioned at any point on the vertical lifeline.

Gemtor’s new Energy Absorbing Rope Grab for 5/8” and 3/4” diameter
vertical synthetic lifelines.
This new Rope Grab is very similar to our popular Model # VF505 in
design and performance.
It is made of stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance,
reduces the forces generated during a fall to a level well below OSHA and
ANSI limits (an energy absorber is recommended when using 3/4” rope to
increase worker comfort during fall arrest).
The Model # VF400 rope grab is threaded onto the lifeline at the
free end and stays with the lifeline so that it is always there when you
need it.

Series of Tie-Back Lanyards
|

This
lanyard is specifically designed so that the webbing may be
wrapped around an OSHA compliant structural support and the
automatic locking carabiner can be “snapped” back onto the
lanyard. Features include; captive locking carabiner for
tie-back or direct connection to anchorage, and dual layer, dual
color design. The black inner layer is made of high strength
polyester webbing, the yellow outer layer offers additional
strength, and helps protect the inner layer from abrasion and
cutting. The contrasting colors help the user identify when the
lanyard is severely worn. Meets OSHA, ANSI standards. |

Introducing
Gemtor’s new Model # SBA-1 Sliding Beam Anchor.
The Model # SBA-1 is made of stainless steel and can easily be
attached to the top or bottom flange of a structural I-beam.
The Model # SBA-1 is designed to follow the workers movement as he
works along the top of the beam or a working surface below the beam.
When used in conjunction with a full-body harness and energy
absorbing lanyard, the SBA-1 helps to provide a complete fall protection
solution for workers exposed to fall hazards.
A second sliding beam anchor may be used along with a twin leg
energy absorbing lanyard to provide 100% tie-off protection. Works
on beam flanges from 3 1/2” to 12” wide and up to 1 1/8”
thick. Weighs less than 5 lbs. Tether strap prevents snaphook
gate from contacting edge of beam when mounted on topside of I-Beam. Snaphook
compatible D-ring connection.
